I’m a busy career mom in my late thirties with three children under five. I initially started this blog while I had my jaw wired shut after breaking it while jogging (no, I’m not kidding). I couldn’t drive my husband crazy with my rambling thoughts, so I decided to head to the blogosphere. Since then, I’ve found it to be a fun way to document my crazy life. I’m not always funny and my grammar is often poor, but I offer a glimpse into the life of trying to have it all. I also consider myself a walking public service announcement for why you shouldn’t try “two under two.” Especially twice!
I recently dubbed my family “Traveling Chaos” as we tend to destroy any environment we come into (and I wonder why those playdate invites have tapered off!). We have a huge year ahead – we’re in the process of searching for a new home in the ultracompetitive Brookline/Newton/Needham markets (no, Allston Village – aka the BU Ghetto – is NOT the best place to raise children), trying our luck in the Boston Public School lottery and navigating the private school scene all while trying to survive daily life. Oh, and I’m also trying to accelerate my career and try out the academic world this Fall by becoming a part-time instructor at a local business school.
